Craig DeGroot
Craig grew up on a dairy farm in BC's Fraser Valley. After
graduating from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine at the
University of Saskatchewan in the spring of 2009, he attended the Summer
Dairy Institute in New York State where he was exposed to many aspects
of dairy herd health management. He then got married to his beautiful
bride Suzanne in September, and then escaped for a 5 month 'extended
honeymoon' in Asia. Suzanne grew up in Southern Alberta, and lived in
Waterloo for 3 years before moving to Saskatchewan for Craig's final
year of vet school. Craig is excited to be the newest member of the
dairy team in Tavistock, although staying up late to watch the Canucks
home games in the playoffs may take a temporary toll on his health.
