Dana Weicker

Is our Receptionist/ Large Animal Pharmacy Clerk at the Hickson clinic. Dana joined the Hickson Clinic in 1984. She is primarily responsible for ensuring the Hickson Clinic runs efficiently. She enjoys reading, walking and spending time with her 3 grandchildren.

Leanne Hasler

Receptionist/ Large Animal Pharmacy Clerk at the Tavistock clinic. Leanne joined Tavistock Vets in January of 2001. Leanne grew up on a dairy farm and is very knowledgeable about farm animals and treatment. Leanne and her husband have 5 wonderful children. Leanne is an avid bowler, gardener and enjoys playing baseball.

Kim Hunt

Joined our team in May 2006 as our second Large Animal Receptionist and Pharmacy Clerk. Kim brings with her many years of experience in customer service and everyday enthusiasm.

Lois Turvey

Lois began working with Tavistock Veterinarians in April 2006. She is responsible for tracking our clinic inventory and occasionally will help out at the large animal reception desk.

Alana McNichol RVT

Large animal technician / on farm and clinic data base management. Alana is responsible for dehorning calves and vaccinating bovine herds.

Angela McMillan

Small Animal Hospital Manager. Ang graduated from Sheridan College. She joined the staff in 1994. Angela is married with 2 little boys whom she enjoys spending time with. She has a dog named Willow. Ang enjoys volleyball, camping and baseball.

Tara Grobbink

Tara is an animal health care technician (AHCT). She works with small animals at our Tavistock clinic and does some on-farm large animal technical work. She has worked with Tavistock Veterinarians since Feb 1999.

Lisa Zehr

Joined Tavistock Veterinarians in May 2002 and graduated from St. Lawrence college in 2004. She works in the Tavistock Clinic as a veterinary technician. Lisa and her husband have many animals and live on a pig/beef farm outside of Tavistock.

Vicki Bruinsma

Vicki joined the staff in 2005 as our Small Animal/ Equine Receptionist. She graduated as an Animal health care technician (AHCT) from Sheridan College.

Janette Priestap

Groomer/RVT: Janette grew up on a pig farm outside of Alvinston. She worked as a vet technician for 9 years at Embro Veterinary Services and also worked at the Veterinary Emergency clinic in London, ON for 1 year. She became a certified pet groomer in 2003. She performs grooming services for our pets here at Tavistock Veterinarians.

Jen works at our Hickson clinic as an animal health care technician (AHCT).  She rejoined our team in the spring of 2008.  She works with small animals and will provide large animal receptionist/ pharmacy technician coverage from time to time.

Julie works a few days a week at our Tavistock clinic dealing with small animals.  She is a registered veterinary technician (RVT) and graduated from Ridgetown College in 2008.  She completed her externship at the Ontario Veterinary College (OVC) in Guelph. 

Amber works at our Hickson, Tavistock and Embro locations dealing with small animals.  She has 2 cats at home named Lexus and Edgar.  Amber has a special interest in dealing with exotic animals.

Is a registered veterinary technician (RVT) that joined our team in the fall of 2008.  Jennifer graduated from Ridgetown College in 2008.  She will be working at both our Tavistock and Hickson vet clinics in small animal.
