Embryo Transfer Service
We now offer embryo transfer services to our clients. This service is provided by Dr. Chris Church.
Tavistock Veterinarians has a long history with embryo management. In 1979, Dr. John Chesney started surgically implanting fresh embryo's. With the development of cryopreservation, we started implanting frozen embryos in 1983. We offer implantation of both dairy and therapeutic embryos. In May 2008, Dr. Church attended the embryo transfer course offered by WCVM and we are proud to once again offer embryo collection for our clients. All embryos are processed on farm, with paperwork being handled by McIntosh ET services. Please ask your veterinarian for more information if you are interested.
