DAIRY
Traditionally, all farm animal veterinary services were based
on dealing with emergencies or sick animals only. This was both expensive for
the producer and frustrating for veterinarian. Over time, we have made an effort
to shift our focus to preventative, or production medicine.
This involves trying to proactively keep the cow healthy,
happy and milking. We feel this is more economical for the producer and more
rewarding for the veterinarian. As the saying goes “an ounce of prevention is
worth a pound of cure”.
As problems still may arise, we also continue to offer full
emergency services to our clients on a 24 hour basis.

Swine
Both Drs. Al Scorgie and Christa Arsenault are our swine
specialty veterinarians.
We perform routine herd health examinations, diagnostic
testing, post mortem services, and treatment as well as profession swine health
management advise.
