Transfer Service
We
now offer embryo transfer services to our clients. This service is provided by
Dr. Chris Church.
Tavistock Veterinarians has a long history with embryo management. In 1979, Dr.
John Chesney started surgically implanting fresh embryo's. With the development
of cryopreservation, we started implanting frozen embryos in 1983. We offer
implantation of both dairy and therapeutic embryos. In May 2008, Dr. Church
attended the embryo transfer course offered by WCVM and we are proud to once
again offer embryo collection for our clients. All embryos are processed on
farm, with paperwork being handled by McIntosh ET services. Please ask your
veterinarian for more information if you are interested.
We
operate Clinics at 2 locations in Oxford County, our Tavistock location is just
one building east of the traffic lights on Hope St. E. and our Hickson location
is at the corner of Lovey St. and Hwy. 59, just 11 km south of Tavistock.
We
are available to a wide area client base surrounding Tavistock and Hickson and
deliver the latest of services and treatments for large animal and companion
animal veterinary care.
